The origins of Restaurant Can Xel date back to 1931 when it began as a small village inn. Over the years it has evolved into a large complex that has a restaurant, accommodation and swimming pool.

Currently, the fourth generation of the family is renewing its gastronomic offer with modern touches, without losing traditional Catalan cuisine and maintaining its essence with good products and good preparation.

Can Xel is located in the municipality of Santa Pau, within the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park, surrounded by the Croscat and Santa Margarida volcanoes and just a few minutes from La Fageda d’en Jordà and the town of Santa Pau.
